The News....

We bid a fond farewell to Joe Schwenk's live game on Monday, June 2nd.  Those of us that have been fortunate enough to attend some of these know that it has been a real treat to play this monthly game and it will surely be missed.  A special thank you to Joe for hosting all these months.  For those of you who do play this game, I will have some news on continuing this monthly game to be announced both at the tournament on Monday and via this newsletter in 2 weeks.  But for now, I hope to see you for one last game of cards on the Strand!

March 19th, 2025 Newsletter It's looking like a good race to the 2025 points race finish line! Six tournaments left in the points race. Here we are again, looking at who has a realistic shot at Vegas, who is just hoping for the $950 second prize, and all the rest of us who are just trying to get another ping pong ball for the $500 lottery. We have a new champion!

May 7th, 2025 Newsletter Dave showing us who claimed the trophy! A big congratulations to Dave Paukovitz for winning the dream trip to the 2025 WSOP.  The package is worth $4230.  Of this, Dave is commitment is to spend $2000 on bracelet events. In case you are interested and as we have done in years past, I will send him the $2230 to do with as he may.  The committed $2000 will be sent upon fulfillment of his commitments. These commitments are:  Posting (or allowing me to post) a photo of himself in front of the large WSOP sign, photo of his related buyin(s), and a photo of himself at the game playing.
