July 1, 2023 Newsletter The News.... Our test run of sending a player to the WSOP on a merit based points system was a resounding success! Joe Schwenk won a $3040.00 prize package on a shortened 8 month points race and was able to pay for airfare, hotels, and 2 bullets into the $1000 Seniors bracelet event. After being coolered on Day 1A, set over set, Joe busted and lost his starting stack of 20,000 chips. However, he was prepared and ready to fire again for Day 1B the next day. Day 1B brought better fortune as he seemed to steadily chip up through the levels. Joe fought through some turbulence around dinner time and by 11 pm, it was the end of the poker day and he bagged 88,500 in chips. Day 2 and 10 am came early for us all but Joe was ready to g
